1. August: Kiersten Meisberger presents her summer research work as a poster at the CTSI Summer Research Showcase. Nuzhat Mukul presents a poster at the annual CDMD Symposium.

2. July: Received research funding from the Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases (CDMD) Pilot and Feasibility Funding Program. We are very grateful for their support as we expand our work in studying diabetic kidney disease.

3. June: Nuzhat Mukul (IBMG program) joins the lab as the first PhD student in the group! Purdue Data Science graduate Aarya Sontakke joins the group as a Research Technician. Purdue BME student Kiersten Meisberger joins the group as a part of the 2026 CTSI Undergraduate Summer Research program. Welcome!!

4. June: Che presents TubuleMAP as an invited speaker at the American Physiological Society (APS) Kidney Camp in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

5. May: Received research funding from the Ralph W. and Grace M. Showalter Trust. We are very grateful for this support!

6. May: Annabelle White, undergrad student from Johns Hopkins joins the group for summer research.

8. March: Che presents the 3D renal pathology work at the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) meeting, with a travel award.

9. January:Nuzhat Mukul (IBMG program) is doing a PhD rotation project in the lab on 3D renal pathology. Purdue undergraduate student Lindsey Laine also joins the group.
